Acabo de intercalar unos vídeos en YouTube con unos ejercicios de programación para el parcial de Metodología de la Programación que tengo este viernes y, tras una larga búsqueda, ¡he encontrado la partitura para la música del Tetris! Todo gracias al autor de este vídeo. En la descripción hace referencia a un sitio web en el que, al parecer, hay partituras de diferentes canciones de juegos de Nintendo. Y hela aquí, casi al final de la página.
En definitiva, que sigo codificando el programa que estaba haciendo con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja, después de haber culminado mi búsqueda; y es que últimamente no me quito la musiquita del juego de Alexey Pazhitnov de la cabeza... PD: La extensión de la partitura es .MUS, un formato que no conoce ni el que lo creó, así que se hizo necesaria una búsqueda en FileExt.com para saber de qué programa es. De todas formas, hay un fichero MIDI, en concreto, el del tema A, que es el que interesa.
En directo desde la ULPGC, aprovechando que el profesor siempre llega tarde y que hay demasiado sueño como para ponerse a estudiar, comienzo esta nueva serie de artículos en la que pondré canciones más actuales (y otras que no lo son tanto) pero que he ido conociendo en los últimos años.
La canción que toca hoy es un tema de Weezer, titulado Island in the Sun, que salió a la luz en 2001. No sé de qué me suena. Un amigo dice que de alguna publicidad, pero yo creo que la había escuchado antes (quizá fuera de un anuncio de hace tiempo...). No sé, pero cada vez que la escucho me gusta más.

A pesar de que en la primera entrega de esta serie indicara que iba a hablar de música de los 60, 70 y 80, también voy a mencionar canciones de los 90; ya que esta serie no trata de música de una o unas décadas en concreto, sino más bien de música que ha marcado las diferentes etapas de mi infancia y preadolescencia (jojojo. preadolescencia, ¡hay que ver cómo suena!).
Esta vez voy a rescatar un tema de música dance de los noventa del grupo Eiffel 65. La canción de hoy se titula Blue (Da Ba Dee) y fue publicada en 1999 en el álbum Europop y también como single. Como indica el artículo de Wikipedia sobre Eiffel 65, este grupo conoció la fama con este tema. De hecho, gracias a este tema conocimos todos los de mi quinta a este grupo.

Para acabar, quiero dar las gracias a RedHoles , porque sin él no hubiera podido rescatar esta canción, ya que él fue quien, este último curso, estando en clase, nos recordó el nombre del grupo y la canción.
Este post inaugura una nueva serie que iré desarrollando según se presente la situación. Más concretamente, esta serie de posts irá sobre todos esos temas de una época en la que yo aún no había nacido, pero que, sin embargo, se escucharon en mi época, cuando yo era niño. No me atrevería a decir que aún hoy se escuchan, pero sí es cierto que siguen ahí y que marcaron época, a pesar de continúan siento atemporales.
En la etapa de mi vida en la que escuché estos temas por primera vez yo no me enteraba demasiado de música (ni ahora tampoco, pero sí algo más que en aquellos momentos) e iré rescatando estos temas conforme los vaya recordando y escuchando.
El tema de hoy es Happy Together, del grupo americano The Turtles, y fue publicado en 1967 en el álbum homónimo.
La historia particular de este tema, en cuanto a cómo lo rescaté, fue que un día me acordé de parte de la letra que recordaba de cuando la había escuchado de pequeño (yo estimo que entre los 10 y los 14 años) y me dio por ponerla en Google para encontrar el nombre de la canción y el grupo. ¡Y voilá!
